Pigments

The ceramic pigments are special inorganic pigments of crystallic character with high thermal stability and chemical restistance against melted molten glass. They are used above all for the colouring of ceramic glazes, mass and enamels and for the production of colours for tiles, glass, porcelain and ceramics also. The pigments are composed by high thermal stable structure, to which it is properly integrated the definite chromophore component, providing the pigment with given tincture.

Theirs colour stability depends on a great extent on the type of theirs crystallic structure, height of firing temperature and the firing speed, on the chemical composition of dyed material, way of the milling and the character of kiln atmosphere. All these parameters influence the dyeing abilities of ceramic pigments, and that is why we recommend to prove the application properties by field test. In common used materials, the most of the pigments are stable till the temperature of 1200-1250°C. In materials with lower content of nonaggressive glassy phase, the stability can be much higher.

Glaze pigments

The glaze pigments are designed for the engraining of ceramic glazes, for the preparation of pastes and ceramic colors above all. It is possible to use these to enamels and to other applications also. This pigments are characterized by high intensity and colour stability in most of glazes types. In this group, they are included the pigments also, that are characterized by easy disperse ability. It is possible to add these to the suspension directly, without necessity of intensive milling.

Mass pigments

This serie of the pigments is developed specially for the engraining of tile mass by means of wet milling (sice practice). It includes the mass pigments of all important shades, that are characterized by high intensity, homogeneity and theirs utilization gives the customer the possibility to optimize the production economy.

Mass pigments for „dry“ dying

This serie of ceramic pigments are characterized by special surface treatment, thanks its, it is possible to use this pigments for the colouring of tile mass on the eve of pressing without necessity of wet milling of the pigments with the mass. Theirs using increases the flexibility of process production, but it demands the special technological equipment.
